I ordered from far away, taking a chance on the images and reviews. Boy am I glad I did!! I ordered a Birthday Dinner of spinach tarts, a tomato thing (forgot the name), and the chocolate cream cake. The recipient couldn't say enough good things about all the things I ordered. The Bake Shop helped me make a much better birthday for a good friend who lives far away.

Heather did a fantastic job baking a delicious carrot cake for my brother's graduation. I mentioned that my family lives two hours away so I was hoping it would survive the trip (fully understanding I was taking a risk traveling that far with a cake, but for one of Heather's cakes it was worth it!). Heather suggested using another icing that paired well with carrot cake and would likely hold up better. she also used extra packaging to keep it secure and included a lovely note about the cake and how to best serve it along with good wishes. I am so grateful to have such a considerate small business here locally, especially ones with such delicious baked goods!
