River Breeze Park is a 35-acre oasis of natural beauty located on the historic Indian River. The park offers a peaceful escape and a glimpse into the early days of Florida's history. With 5 acres of land directly on the river, visitors can enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Indian River and take in the panoramic views of nature's splendor.
The area was once an abundant food source for early Indian tribes, as evidenced by the shell middens (mounds of oyster and clam shells) found on the shores. After Florida's settlement, the fertile land was used as a thriving citrus grove, known for producing some of the best citrus products in the world.
Today, River Breeze Park is a haven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Visitors can bring their picnic lunch, fishing rod, or camera and spend quality time with the family while enjoying the park's scenic balance between people and nature. The park is open to the public and is a great spot to relax, fish and enjoy nature.
