The Clawson family moved to Florida from the Northwest in 2013. After their cross-country move, the Clawson's searched for a location to open up shop & start sharing their passion for organic coffee roasting. Once they found their location in the great community of New Smyrna Beach, they opened Island Roasters Coffee company in February of 2014.
As Scott Clawson (Roast Master) puts it "We love sharing our passion for roasting organic coffee, while growing within our community". Currently, the three Clawson daughters are pursuing their own endeavors, while Tara & Scott (Mom & Dad) keep growing Island Roasters Coffee Company.

I travel 35 minutes to get my fresh roasted coffee here. It’s DELICIOUS. You can see them roasting the beans off to one side and they have so many to choose from. My favorite is Costa Rica medium roast. And you can either grind the beans at home or they’ll grind it for you there before you leave. And it’s so fresh and smooth that you don’t even need to add milk when you brew. Give them a try!
