Visit Chuck Lennon Park, a 136-acre facility adjacent to DeLeon Springs State Park. Developed by Volusia County's Parks, Recreation and Culture Division with funding from the Florida Department of Natural Resources, the park offers covered pavilions, grills, restrooms, and two playgrounds. The park also includes two soccer/football fields, two little league baseball fields, three softball fields, a 300-foot baseball field, two tennis/pickleball courts, two basketball courts, two racquetball courts and a series of walking and primitive cycling trails. The park is dedicated to Chuck Lennon, a community leader who worked to improve the youth in DeLeon Springs. All facilities are lighted and can be scheduled through the Parks, Recreation and Culture office by calling 386-736-5953.
