Fees to use the range are set to encourage the public to enjoy the use of a safe, well-supervised recreation site.
The Robert Strickland Shooting Range is a state-of-the-art facility located in Volusia County, Florida. Named after former County Commissioner Robert Strickland, the 10-acre range offers a variety of shooting distances, including 7-yard, 15-yard, 25-yard, 50-yard, and 100-yard target positions. The range features a baffling and berm system for safety, as well as a control tower for range communications and a Miller Building for meetings and education. The range is also available for training by law enforcement, security, and other agencies.
